Sitter Service for Families on Vacation
Suncoast Sitters is a locally owned Babysitting Service providing Top-Notch Sitters for families vacationing on the Suncoast of Florida. We service: South Tampa, St Pete, Brandon, Lithia, Apollo Beach, Parrish, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Anna Maria, Longboat Key, Sarasota, Siesta Key, Venice and North Port – and all areas in between!
Suncoast Sitters prides itself on recruiting and referring the most experienced sitters who we then carefully train and fully screen prior to being matched with your family. Our sitters come to your vacation home or hotel location ready to entertain your little ones with games, toys, crafts and more!
Our screening process includes criminal history, driving history, sex offender registry search, Social Security verification and reference screening. All sitters hold current CPR and First Aid certification.
Our Agency Fees
Daily Reservation Fee: Our daily reservation fee is $35 per sitter. This is a non-refundable fee due at the time of booking. We ask for at least a 48-hour notice for all sitter booking requests.
Families with more than 4 children are required to book two (2) sitters. In this instance the Client is responsible for paying an additional sitter booking fee of $15, due at the time of booking
Additional fees include:
Same-Day/Emergency Reservation: An additional $15 service fee, in addition to the daily booking fee, will be due at the time of booking.
Sitter Sharing Fee: When two or more families wish to share a sitter with a total of four (4) or fewer children, a $25 service fee, in addition to the daily booking fee, will be due at the time of booking.
Groups with more than five (5) children should use our Event Sitter Services. There is a maximum allowance of four (4) children per individual sitter.
Holiday Reservation Fee: An additional booking fee of $20 is due for Holiday bookings – a Holiday booking must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance.
Late Reservation Holiday Fee: An additional booking fee of $30 is due for Holiday’s booked less than 13 days before the Holiday.
Holidays are: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Valentines Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
All Agency reservation and service fees are due upon booking and are non-refundable, in whole or in part, as expressly stated in this Agreement.
Cancellation Policy: All Sitter Reservations require a 24-hour Cancellation Notice. If you cancel your service with less than a 24-hour notice, a service fee of $100 will be charged to the card on your account. Written cancellation should be sent to our agency via email or text.
Sitter Fees
There is always a 4 hour Minimum when reserving a Sitter!
Hourly Rate: $22 per hour base rate for 1 child. Each additional child is $2 more per hour. Ex: 3 children would be $26 per hour.
Holiday Rate: Sitters are paid time & a half for all hours worked on a *Holiday; with the exception of: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Eve (after 4pm) and New Years Day which are all paid as Double Time. * See Holidays listed under Agency Fees
Families are responsible for paying their sitters at the end of each shift via Cash or an agreed upon Payment App such as Venmo or Zelle. Suncoast Sitters is not responsible for the payment of sitter fees to the sitter.
Families are responsible for paying all parking fees incurred by a sitter during their shift – this includes tipping for the runner.
If a sitter is booked with your children for more than 5 hours, the family is responsible for providing a meal for the sitter via room service or other accessible option.
TRAVEL/TRANSPORTATION: A $15 travel fee will apply when a sitter travels more than twenty-five (25) miles to the Client’s service location. If the Client requests or authorizes the sitter to transport a child to or from an activity, appointment, or other location, a $20 transportation fee will apply per day.
